She Put Them in Vases
A favorite throughout the South, camellias are symbols of love, faithfulness, and beauty. Many of us have a family member who has held camellias dear and so, they have worked their way firmly into our own hearts. This painting was a commission for a woman who fondly remembered her mother always ‘putting them in vases’ about the house.
